He encounters Esil, a Demon Noble, who initially tries to deceive him, but Jin-Woo quickly sees through her act. Esil, realizing her life is in Jin-Woo's hands, offers to guide him through the tower in exchange for his promise to spare her and her family. This sets the stage for a tense alliance as Jin-Woo navigates the increasingly dangerous upper floors. Episode brief Jin-Woo, with Esil as his reluctant guide, battles his way up the Demon Tower. He faces stronger and more numerous enemies on each floor, including demon knights and nobles, pushing him to further develop his skills and the capabilities of his summons, Igris and Tank.
